The Halloween Horror Expo celebrates all things Halloween and horror. The show provides fans with celebrity guests, vendors, Ohio Filmmakers, horror films, live entertainment, horror movie casting calls, contests, and much more. The show promises to be around for a long, long, time and with it's prime location it is very convenient for fans in the Youngstown area and surrounding area's to attend, such as Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Ashtabula, Pittsburgh, and Erie. It's also held at a great location, the Eastwood Mall's expo center which has an area far larger than the average horror convention. The show is also different than the typical horror convention as it is ran by a number of horror fans and not one individual person. It is made up of people who have experience in conventions and filmmaking. The funding to run the show comes from investors, sponsors, vendors, and the general public who pay admission. Remember when you attend that you get $2 off admission if you come dressed in costume. There will be a movie area where you can watch all kinds of horror films including one's from Ohio's own horror filmmakers. You'll meet some of your favorite horror celebrities along with returning fan favorites. There will be live entertainment such as celebrity talks, stand up comedy, and contests. Vendors will be selling all kinds of halloween/horror/sci-fi memorabilia like movies, books, comics, art work, toys, and much more. If all that wasn't enough there will also be casting calls for aspiring actors to act in movies being shot in the Ohio area. Last but not least make sure to check out our Halloween Horror Store at the Eastwood Mall located in center court near Macy's and the aquarium, all purchases support the show. | ||
